Bootstrap & other Web frameworks. Event - October 2, 2018

Angular, React, Rails, Bootstrap, Django, Flask, .NET. So many frameworks, so little time. If you've ever heard about some of them and wondered what they did exactly, look no further. In this workshop, we'll give you an introduction to frameworks, why they're such huge time savers and how they're used. We'll also cover the difference between frameworks, libraries and programming languages. As an example, we'll use one of the simpler frameworks, Bootstrap, to show you a concrete example of how it all works. Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus, but definitely not a must. Using Bootstrap, we can implement a responsive design in a few minutes. Responsive design is a must when making even a simple static landing page these days. It means that your website adapts to the screen size of your users, in order to provide a good user experience on mobile, tablets and desktops alike.
